What Do Consumers Really Think About Moving Home

Alongside HomeOwners Alliance, National Conveyancing Week have undertaken a consumer sentiment survey seeking to highlight the level of consumer understanding of conveyancing and the role of a conveyancer in the home purchase/sale process. The survey also asked how UK homeowners found their conveyancer, their satisfaction with the service, and what improvements they would like to see to the process.

In this session led by HomeOwner’s Alliance, CEO Paula Higgins talks through the results of the survey which suggest that just two out of five UK adults (40%) are aware of what conveyancing is. Meanwhile 3 in 4 home movers indicated they were “satisfied” with their home moving experience, although “a faster move” and “more frequent communication” featured highly on ways to improve to the conveyancing process.
